Job Title:             Transport Administrator  (Shift 4.00pm to 12.30am)


Role Overview

Reporting to the Transport Manager the Transport Administrator will provide logistics planning to support supply chain team


Main Duties

The Transport Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with collection drivers to update intake/make changes where necessary to ensure correct products arrive on time to pack
  • Monitor deliveries throughout Ireland/UK – liaising with sites to ensure prompt despatch and hauliers to track deliveries
  • Liaising with hauliers to update loads/delivery timings
  • Update Transport KPI’s
  • General administration to support the department


Competencies to perform the role

  • Have good computer skills
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be adept at working effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Be a team player
  • Attention to detail – a focus on accuracy is essential


Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in transport / dispatch environment would be desirable
  • Experience in food production would be beneficial
