Role: Retail and Interior Design Sales Person.
Our client is currently recruiting for a Retail & Interior Design Sales Person. This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, 2 weekdays and 1 Saturday, which could develop into full-time for the right candidate.
This role combines hands-on retail sales with design and project coordination, making it ideal for someone with interior design experience who enjoys working directly with clients in a busy showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member of the Sales team including providing one-to-one consultations, working on customers’ projects from initial meeting through to after-sale service.
- Anticipate customer needs and bring their ideas to life with passion.
- Deliver excellence in customer service by putting the customer first.
- Proactively contribute to the overall showroom team performance.
- Liaising directly with clients from initial consultation through to order completion.
- Managing customer orders, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Provide quotations based on customer requirements and budget.
- Follow up on these quotes and close the sale.
- Exceed customer satisfaction & solve customers’ queries.
Key Skills/experience:
- Minimum 2 years retail sales or customer-facing experience required,
- Background or qualification in Interior Design is an advantage, but not essential.
- Confident dealing with customers face-to-face on a daily basis.
- Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Excellent product knowledge & continued learning.
- Excellent computer skills.
