Overview of Role: Our client based in the North East/Louth/ Meath/ Cavan/ Monaghan/

is seeking a Supply Chain/Purchasing Co Ordinator on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Title Supply Chain/Purchasing Co Ordinator

Core Purpose Accountable for effective control of purchase orders, shipping, delivery schedules, and stock inwards of selected product categories.

Responsibilities:

Creation and maintenance of all product listings/details within given departments.

Preparation and analysis of stock analysis reports to support ordering with your manager and to ensure optimum ordering, stock turn.

Placing, tracking and system update of all purchase orders within given categories.

Use shipping schedules to build cash flow forecasts when required for finance.

Preparation and posting of invoices and delivery notes for relevant categories. Liaise with the finance team to ensure all is correct and approved for payment.

Effective management of all credit & debit notes in relation to supplier accounts of agreed categories.

Maintain stock accuracy through reviewing system stocks and coordination with warehouse manager in compiling, inputting and analysis of stock take results.

Management and processing of stock transfers documentation relating to area of responsibility.

Maintain schedule of all deliveries planned and liaise with the warehouse manager to optimise goods inwards, maximise available space and reduce external storage costs.

Maintain intrastate details where applicable for all products within the business.

Ensure that the company and its supply base are compliant and proactive in all legislative obligations by maintaining all required documentation on file.

Maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers, identifying, and resolving any supply and QC issues.

Effective communication of stock availability issues and due dates to key customers, management, customer service and sales teams on a regular basis.

Maintenance and communication of clearance line file to customer service and sales teams.

Providing appropriate team cover during holidays and at peak work points. 

Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or may be required by company.

 

Required:

Excellent interpersonal and Communication Skills.

Good commercial awareness and appreciation of business partner needs.

Highly organised with good planning skills to ensure delivery of the necessary activities to achieve performance.

Strong attention to detail to ensure line level accuracy in all tasks and projects.

Excellent IT skills including ERP (SAP preferable) and Microsoft office. Microsoft Excel skills should be strong to support product analysis and cashflow planning.
