Overview of Role: Our client is based in Co Louth/ Meath/ North Dublin is seeking a Scheduling/ Planning Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.
The company is seeking a highly motivated Scheduling Administrator to support the business goals and objectives of both company and clients. As a scheduling administrator you will work closely with our manufacturing operations to develop the overall schedule of projects completion. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules at various milestones, as project deliverables are completed, and as scopes of work are added to a project, and to provide updates to key team members on the progress of project completion. The Role will also involve working closely with our Financial Controller assisting with bookkeeping and administration tasks.
Work closely with the floor manager to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects
Develop schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects
Assess schedule slippages. Inform floor manager of all schedule updates
Provide guidance, direction, and assistance for the resolution of difficult project problems
Attend regular meetings and give reports
2 years + experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication presentation skills are a must
Advanced knowledge of LEAN processes an advantage but not essential
Performs administrative tasks such as preparing progress reports and arranging meetings
Tracks project progress
Other duties as assigned namely assisting with book-keeping/administration tasks
