Role : Logistics Operator (Permanent)
Responsibilities :
- Offloading, check & put away of all goods received from vendor’s internal and external.
- Pick and issuing of all material’s required, maintenance of call off program.
- Handling/storing & all movement of all goods within the logistics area in a safe, efficient and controlled manner
- Printing from SAP daily shipping requirements.
- Check of all material movement.
- Liaise with and support departments with reference to material availability & movement – call off’s shortages & recommits, etc
- Documentation & control, metrics & reporting.
- Issuing of Shipping instructions to freight forwarders – booking carriers, admin, delivery confirmations, delivery service, communications. Etc.
- Carrying out regular cycle counts/physical inventories.
- Maintain & adhere to the highest level of inventory accuracy within internal warehouse – maintenance interim bins, system integrity.
- Stock Management
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Relevant stores/shipping experience
- PC literate
- ERP Systems experience
- Communicative English (Written and Oral)
- Numerical Skills
- Fork truck driving certification & experience
