Our client is looking for Junior Quantity Surveyor.
Job Description:
Working closely with and reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Assisting with tender submittals and working to deadlines.
Assisting with PQQ submittals.
Correspondence with clients/clients’ representatives.
Provide assistance in the management of projects.
Support in the preparation of accurate forecasts of project costs to completion and final value.
Prepare monthly interim valuations with Senior QS.
Responsible for procuring sub-contracts and agreeing final accounts.
Prepare and approve monthly invoices from sub-contractors.
Responsible for preparing cost reports and cash flow forecasts as well as other duties assigned by the Senior QS.
Ensuring that Purchase orders for materials, labour, and sub-contractors are placed as agreed for upcoming projects.
Completing post project cost reviews.
Requirements:
Bsc. in Construction, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
This job is ideally suited to a recently qualified graduate.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
IT Skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular, are essential.
Be highly organised, self-motivated with excellent communication and leadership skills.
