Overview of Role: Our client based in Co Louth/ Meath/ Cavan/ Monaghan/ Dublin is seeking a General Operator on a full-time temporary basis.
Job Title: General Operator Main purpose of job: To follow production schedule procedures within all customer business streams
Main tasks/responsibilities:
Pick & Pack Process, CFPP Process, Line-Feeding, Basic machine operations
Present finished goods to loading bay for delivery vehicles
If necessary, checking the correct quantity/type/quality of stock that has been received
To consistently gain knowledge & show adherence to all production processes within the fulfilment area including any basic systems in use.
Gain knowledge of SAP transactions that are directly associated with your day to day role & basic understanding of System
To consistently gain knowledge & show adherence to all paperwork used on a daily basis i.e working papers, fulfilment sheets, reconciliation sheets etc.
Commitment to the 5s Program within the Fulfilment Floor
Commitment to the quality processes within the company and interact with quality department when needed
Material Control & Adherence to material control procedures
You will comply with Internal Policies & Procedures and with our ISO certification requirements, specifically ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & ISO 27001.
Based on your current job role, or any role assigned to you by your manager, you will have access to the customer data that is relevant for the completion of your role.
You must treat company and customer data in line with our Data Classification processes, You should default to treat all company and customer data as private & confidential.
You will be required to be flexible in both your role and working across all our sites and you must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management.
Essential Requirements:
Communicative English (Written & Spoken)
Computer literacy
Numerical Skills
Desirable Requirements:
Experience in Lean environment
Retail shop experience an advantage but not a requirement
