Overview of Role: Our client is seeking a General Manager on a on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Title: General Manager
Duties include:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through efficient and timely delivery of products and services.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, including inventory control and order fulfilment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate terms.
- Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage and develop a team of employees, providing training, and performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Degree in management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant in-house software.
