Overview of Role: Our client based in Co Louth/ Meath/ Cavan/ Monaghan/ is seeking a Customer Case Support Officer on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Description:
- Taking ownership of investigations and presenting daily to the investigation team on the progress of each. This is usually done in tandem with the associate and Senior investigators.
- Liaising with clients, investigators and parties to investigations, adjusting appropriately to the audience in relation to each.
- Develop an expert knowledge of fair procedures and natural justice as applicable to investigations, particularly workplace investigations.
- Accurately transcribing audio files of confidential interviews
- Drafting terms of reference for investigation processes
- Updating case file databases and ensuring all information in respect of an investigation is recorded appropriately
- Attending conferences on employment and equality law
- Writing formal letters and emails, updating clients and parties to investigations and answering queries as they arise.
- Attending investigation interviews with investigators either remotely or in-person
- Compile a methodology and records of interview into a draft investigation report
- Fastidious attention to detail with Data Protection matters.
- Staying abreast of developments in employee relations, employment law and industrial relations
- Managing/supporting relationships with major stakeholders.
Requirements:
Legal or HR qualification, with comparable experience considered
Interest in employee relations, employment law and investigations
Qualities:
Collaborative and detail-orientated with strong analytical skills
Strong organisational, critical thinking and communications skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sense of accountability and co-ownership of challenges
