Overview of Role: Our client is seeking an Area Sales Manager, Commercial B2B on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Purpose: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving Sales solutions across the designated territory (North of Dublin to Sligo). This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving Sales targets in the Commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including contractors, consultants, and project managers within the commercial sector.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to present product solutions and understand customer requirements.
- Account Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and ensure timely follow-up on all sales leads.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide clients with technical guidance, ensuring product suitability for specific projects.
- Work closely with the technical team to design customised solutions for client projects.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity records.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Requirements: Full, clean driving license.
- Education: Technical Background
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales, preferably within the building services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving Sales targets in a field-based role.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of product solutions for commercial applications.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
