Role : Advertising Sales Executive
Our client (located in Dublin) wishes to appoint an experienced Advertising Sales Executive to work across its several established publications, including Ireland’s leading policy and business magazines.
An enthusiastic advertising sales executive is required to develop business relationships and promote our publications to decision-makers from a range of industry sectors. The vacancy will be based in the Republic of Ireland, but will require 2 days’ work a week in Northern Ireland on a regular basis.
The role will include:
Identifying, maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
Attending meetings with new and existing customers;
Developing targeted marketing campaigns to promote special reports for all publications;
Being proactive in researching leads to identify new business opportunities;
Preparing targeted proposals to meet the needs of clients;
Developing media partnerships with leading bluechip companies.
Skills :
Self-motivation and a positive work ethic are essential along with excellent oral and written communication and client relationship management skills. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and will, preferably, have a proven track record in working to sales targets with a minimum of 2+ years media sales.
