Overview of Role: Our client is a well-established company based in Co Monaghan is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a 3 day week on site, on a permanent part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.
Duties include:
- Creditors ledger – processing invoices, payments, creditor reconciliation and ad hoc supplier/group queries
- VIES/ Intrastat – submission of monthly VIES and Intrastat
- Purchase ordering – Administration support for manufacturing purchases of raw material and packaging in addition to routine office supplies.
- Stock reporting – recording of incoming goods and material usage on our accounting software, plus preparing supporting file for submission to Group.
- Payroll – Micropay experience is required. Time and attendance system (weekly payroll).
- General Administration Duties
Ideally a candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential,
- Accounting Technician Qualification is desirable,
- Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel, Outlook,
- Excellent organisation skills, with a good attention to detail and a good work ethic,
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
