Overview of Role: Our client based in the North East of Ireland, is seeking an Accountant on a permanent basis.
Our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant – ACCA/ CPA to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a position in a well-established business where you will get to work in many areas of the finance function and be involved in a number of companies within a large group, reporting to the CFO.
Role Description:
Gather Monthly Subsidiary Trial Balances to Ensure Data Accuracy
Analyse Financial Information/ Trial Balances On a standalone and Group level
Support Monthly and Annual Close Processes
Reconcile Accounts – Balance Sheet
Prepare Journal Entries
Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
Analyse and perform foreign currency exchanges.
Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
Inter Company Account Reconciliation
Strong Analytical skills & Strong organizational skills
Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies
Technical accounting skills
Technical skills and experience using accounting software
Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to work on a team and independently
Experience: 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
